Sussex County Strawberry Farm is located in northern New Jersey. We have been growing quality fruit for over 30 years. Not only are we growing berries, but we're growing a reputation for having the best berries in New Jersey.

Our greenhouses will remain open throughout the summer for fresh produce, mike,eggs, plants and furniture.
Greenhouse hours are.
Monday - Friday 9:AM to 5:PM
Saturday - 9:AM to 4:PM
Sunday - Closed in Juy and August

  2. MINIMUM 1 Box Per Person (All ages included) for any Pickers Entering the Field

Between Picking and Eating:

 Strawberries are highly perishable.
 To maintain quality andfreshness remember these helpful suggestions!

  1. Handle gently and keep them as cool as possible
  2. When you get home, sort but do not clean or wash until you plan to use them
  3. Lay berries out on a flat surface

Freezing Berries:

 To freeze whole strawberries , place a single layer on a cookie sheet and freeze until hard. Quickly transfer to freezer bags or containers and store in the freezer. To thaw remove from freezer, rinse with cold water and place in the refrigerator to defrost slowly.
